This year I am hosting my very first official Halloween Costume party and I want it to be amazing. I coordinated with our amazing designer Carisa from Messes to Memories to create some delightfully spooky Halloween printables to use at the party and today we are sharing them with you! We have the following that you could use at your next Halloween costume party:
Halloween Costume Party Invitation:
When planning a party, sometimes inviting people can be the trickiest part. Taking time to print out the invitation and delivering it to your friends takes time and coordination. That is why I asked Carisa to create for us two versions of the Halloween Costume Party Invitation. We have the traditional invitation that you can print and deliver to your guests. We also have a digital version (downloadable below) to easily send out the message and quickly receive a reply!
Either way you go, we have it all done for you so you can move on to more important things like planning your costume party!
Halloween Costume Contest Printables
If you are all dressed up, you definitely need to have a little costume contest at your party! Have your guests show off their costume and their creativity with a little fashion show. I will definitely have a runway ready (aka my hallway) for my guests to strut their stuff. Meanwhile, those watching can have their voting ballots in hand to vote for the funniest, most creative, etc.
We even have some printables for creating a little voting box to make sure those votes are kept a secret! I added mine on an empty square tissue box and added some decorative washi tape (love that stuff!) but you could use any box you have.
Halloween Costume Contest Awards
Once the votes are in, it is time for the tally. To make it super easy, we have a place for you to count up all the votes and identify the winners. We have some costume contest award ribbons for the well-earned winners. I highly suggest the announcement of the winners be as dramatic as possible and should definitely include a drum roll – maybe even a speech from the winner . . . I am still deciding on what the winners will actually receive, what do you think? Bare minimum they at least get the award ribbon thanks to the printables. If I have more time, I will probably place the award with some of my stashed Halloween candy (if I am in the mood to share).
Halloween Costume Party Food Ideas
Any good Halloween costume party should have some themed food! But take it a step further with these cute printables!
Halloween Cupcake Toppers
With these cute cake toppers, we’ve turned cupcakes into little gravestones! My cupcakes were a little small. If I’d made {bought – wink!} bigger ones, the toppers would have fit a little better. Still seriously cute!
Halloween Straw Flags
Printable spooky straw flags to make all of your drinks pop! {Are these straws not just adorable!?!}
Halloween Food Tents
Food labels to turn normal food into MONSTER food!
Here are a few ideas to fill the snack bowls at your Halloween costume party!
Goblin Toes {nuts, candy corn, or raisins} Ghost Teeth {marshmallow} Witches Brew {soup} Monster Mush {dip – which would look totally cute in this!} Poison {drinks} Eat if You Dare {any yummy food!}
Halloween Banner
Add a festive banner to make the food table all the more festive and voila! You’ve got a hit!
