How to Achieve the Texturized Water Waves from Fe Noel in Five Steps
Recreate Texturized Water Waves in Less than 5 Steps
Step 1: Hair Sectioning and Parting
Start this look on clean hair; it is also best if the hair is slightly damp, to begin with. Start off the look by sectioning hair into small pieces and applying TRESemmé TRES TWO Mega Control Hair Gel throughout. Use a brush or comb to distribute the gel throughout the hair evenly. It is important to keep your brush/comb close to the head to pick up on texture.
Step 2: Creating Wavy Edges and Blow Drying
With the two front pieces of hair, create a deep side part. Leave some baby hairs out across the forehead to create intricate-looking rolling wave edges. Then, brush the rest of the hair behind the ears and straight down. Wrap the hair in a hair net and blow dry with a sock diffuser to avoid creating a crunchy look with the water waves and to avoid frizz.
Step 3: Locking in the Look
Once the hair is dried from the sock diffuser, remove the hair net and spray TRESemmé Freeze Hold Hair Spray all over to lock the style in place. To further elevate your look, use TRESemmé Keratin Smooth Shine Serum from roots to ends to impart shine and reflectivity, bringing the water element of the hairstyle to life.
Step 4: Wavy Braid
Working from the left side of the head to the right, weave a wavy braid across the back of the hair. Lock the style in with a final mist of TRESemmé Freeze Hold Hair Spray.
