She is kicking off the Valentine season for us over here on The Dating Divas by giving you the FIRST Valentine idea! Here she is! * * * * * * * * * * * I am so excited to get to do another post for The Divas! I wanted to give you all something cute, quick, and easy that you can put together for your spouse. I have decided I am really into boxes. I’m not sure what it is, but I love the versatility of them and the possibilities they possess. Who doesn’t love a gift?
So, I created a little printable box and tag for you. Just print it off, cut it out, fold it on the lines, & glue! Very easy! To fill the bottom, I didn’t have any grass handy, so I cut strips of paper with scalloped scissors and then crumbled them. I loved filling it with a couple of my husband’s favorite little candy bars and placing it by his computer.
A perfect addition to his “man cave.” A fun and easy way to kick off Valentine’s! 🙂
HINT: When you print this off, the “Sweets” tag is a square. I used one of my cute punches to create the scalloped edging {The size was 2 1/4″.} . If you don’t have any punches, you can place the paper up against a window {during the day} so you are looking at the BACK of the printable. With the sunlight shining in, you will be able to see the design through the paper. You can then draw a scalloped edge by hand on the back with pencil. This way, there won’t be any pencil smudges on the front of the paper. Cut it out after you are satisfied with your free-style work and attach it to your box. I used a shiny black ribbon to top it all off. 🙂
